Hvad certificeringen betyder
EWG VERIFIED er et mærke fra Environmental Working Group, en amerikansk non-profit organisation, lanceret i 2015. Produkter skal undgå ingredienser på EWG's liste over uacceptable stoffer, opfylde deres standarder for deklaration af ingredienser og duftstoffer samt følge god fremstillingspraksis. Mærket afspejler EWG's egen ramme for farevurdering, som er strengere end myndighedernes på visse ingredienser.
